The FESTIVAL DAYS
More than 1,000 exhibitors and eleven Areas for sheer bike entertainment
In the thick of it, not just on the fringe! Fully in keeping with the motto “Test, Experience, Celebrate”, this year EUROBIKE is presenting itself from a whole new side and for the first time will be opening the exhibition area to the public on two FESTIVAL DAYS. Following the three BUSINESS DAYS, which are only accessible to trade visitors and journalists, the FESTIVAL DAYS offer spectacular bike performances and insights into trends for bike enthusiasts, hobby cyclists and newcomers. This is a place for visitors to explore the world of the cycle in all its facets and test the new products of the coming season before everyone else.
More than 1,000 exhibitors in eleven halls
In eleven halls more than 1,000 exhibitors will be presenting their new products for the coming season and offering a unique insight into the future of the bike industry: the latest bike technology, the hottest fashion trends or innovative accessories such as GPS, helmets & Co. – all this is on offer by the exhibitors at the leading Global Show of the bike industry. More information on the exhibitors is available here.
But also outside the halls there are loads to see and do. Taking part plays a huge role at the FESTIVAL DAYS – after all, where else is there a chance to test ride 3,000 bikes of different categories on specially designed tracks or try your hand in the cycle workshop under the guidance of bike experts? The FESTIVAL DAYS make all this possible and, on the first weekend in September, will be transforming the specialist trade fair into an action event for the whole family.
Hands-on activities for young and old
Strong men and brave fathers, for example, will find a challenge in the pump contests and in towing a car over the finishing line with a bike. And anyone who thinks that cycling always means high speeds will have a chance to demonstrate the opposite in the slow biking contest. In the Kids Area everything is then geared towards the tiniest bike fans who will be able to burn off some surplus energy in the Nipper Race, while ladies can upgrade their knowledge of bike technology in specially devised workshops or take a seat in the front row of the Fashion Show.
Bike entertainment by the professionals
Visitors to the spectacular bike shows should make sure of a place at the very front: on the Pump Track and in the Dirt Area, international professionals will be providing superb entertainment and stealing their spectators’ breath with crazy tricks and soaring leaps.
Those who fancy a break in-between will enjoy the performances by top acts in the Music Area where they can savour the relaxed festival mood. Celebrations will then take place on Saturday evening at the EUROBIKE Party when the Mixshow team from Radio 7 will be firing up the music for visitors. What better way to end a day at the exhibition? Yet the second day is also bursting with bicycle action, pro-performances and exciting presentations for all bike fans. So, it’s on your bike, get set and off you go to EUROBIKE!
